New Cosmos 03:59
Watch another setting sun Lose track of what day you're on Learn each square of hardwood floor Clean the brass right off your door And when you wake up you will hope for a different scheme Broken mirrors, could-have-beens in your dreams Watch another rising sun Bouncing robins on the lawn They've got sky and they've got land You've got longer nails on your hand And when you lay down you will hope for a different dream Forward-looking astronauts plot your schemes And they scheme big They chart among the stars New cosmos Oh Stareye you're very far Watch another midday sun Redefine what you call fun Hey Stareye we'll get ya through It's your worry that tethers you And when you get up out into outer space With a bubble to surround your face You can dream big Out amongst the stars New cosmos Oh Stareye you're very far You're very far...

Cosmic Sound 04:20
A new day a new sun give a shot at having fun It's another day But it all seems the same the same face the same name No new words to say Get some sun vitamin D sing a song that makes you free To be who you are Brew your coffee a little weak put those records on repeat Go to the stars Stareye look upward Stareye forget the ground Stareye can you hear it? The cosmic sound Use memory to bring you back to a time when you were on track You knew where to go Old days the Brandywine the French Creek curling fine Oh so long ago Stareye look upward Stareye forget the ground Stareye can you hear it? The cosmic sound

about

After a brief hiatus from online posts, The Antique Smugglers are back and with another member of the band! Please welcome Wade Wimble, who has been playing with us since 2018 when we found him in a basement playing guitar with his hands and synthesizers with his feet.

Wade tells us he wrote this song in pandemic isolation and it's about the hope and creativity you can feel even while you're alone. That's better use of quarantine than me who was busy watering my succulents and Elwood who was busy polishing his bolo ties!

All proceeds from this single will go to the Columbus Freedom Fund to support protestors who were jailed for protesting police brutality. And if it wasn't clear ya'll: Black Lives Matter.

The artwork is from Tay Gleason, a local columbus artist and friend. You can find more of her work on instagram @beingbreathed.
